We have STUFF to show you

The first ever Seattle Trans Underground Film Fest is happening October 17-19, 2025. We expect to be accepting films shortly through Film Freeway, and will close submissions for selection August 23rd. Full schedule, including more information on attending, ticketing, and screenings, will be announced in September. Follow us on Instagram and Bluesky to stay up to date, and hear what else is coming at the Northwest Film Forum!

Submissions

STUFF is accepting films of all kinds, from filmmakers of all kinds. STUFF is open for both fiction and non-fiction shorts, mid-length, and feature-length submissions from any filmmaker, anywhere, who considers their work a trans film. We specifically value trans and marginalized filmmakers, whether or not their films focus on trans topics, and we’re open to filmmakers regardless of trans status.

About

STUFF was founded by local film fest staff, volunteers, and fans who share a passion for films by, for, and about trans people. In 2024, we started with organizing small-scale events, self-publishing zines, and connecting people through Seattle Trans Film Union (STFU). In 2025, we saw a need: Seattle has a twenty-year history of hosting a trans-focused film festival annually; in 2025, we’re making sure that proudly continues.
