Announcing STUFF 2026:
October 15-18th at Northwest Film Forum

Submissions
STUFF screens films of all kinds, from filmmakers of all kinds. STUFF is open for both fiction and non-fiction shorts, mid-length, and feature-length submissions from any filmmaker, anywhere, who considers their work a trans film. We specifically value trans and marginalized filmmakers, whether or not their films focus on trans topics, and we’re open to filmmakers regardless of trans status.
Films submissions are currently being accepted through Film Freeway through August 1st. Submit your film today — or get filming!

In the meantime: join us for WTF!
STUFF’s monthly Wednesday Trans Film brings fantastic and under-seen trans film to the screen every month, year-round. Every third Wednesday at Northwest Film Forum!

About
STUFF was founded by local film fest staff, volunteers, and fans who share a passion for films by, for, and about trans people. In 2024, we started organizing small-scale events, self-publishing zines, and connecting people through Seattle Trans Film Union (STFU). In 2025, we saw a need: Seattle has had a twenty-year history of hosting an annual trans-focused film festival, and we’re making sure that proudly continues. With an incredibly successful festival in 2025 under our belts, we’re already looking forward to October 2026 and are excited for many more festivals in the years to come.
