Submissions
STUFF screens films of all kinds, from filmmakers of all kinds. STUFF is open for both fiction and non-fiction shorts, mid-length, and feature-length submissions from any filmmaker, anywhere, who considers their work a trans film. We specifically value trans and marginalized filmmakers, whether or not their films focus on trans topics, and we’re open to filmmakers regardless of trans status.
Films were accepted through Film Freeway, and submissions closed on August 15th. We look forward to opening submissions for next year in 2026!

About
STUFF was founded by local film fest staff, volunteers, and fans who share a passion for films by, for, and about trans people. In 2024, we started organizing small-scale events, self-publishing zines, and connecting people through Seattle Trans Film Union (STFU). In 2025, we saw a need: Seattle has had a twenty-year history of hosting an annual trans-focused film festival, and we’re making sure that proudly continues.
