The first ever Seattle Trans Underground Film Fest is happening October 17-19, 2025 at Northwest Film Forum. Get STUFF’d.
Submit
We accept film submissions in all genres, including fiction and non-fiction. We do not strictly define the term ‘trans film,’ and are open to submissions from any filmmaker who applies this label to their project. In general, we place greater value on showing work made by trans or otherwise marginalized filmmakers than storytelling that is merely about trans characters. That is to say, your film does not have to be about trans people, and you do not have to be trans to submit.
About
STUFF is founded by film festival volunteers and staff who share a passion for films by and about trans people. In 2024, we began organizing outings and publishing zines as Seattle Trans Film Union (STFU). Seattle has a twenty-year history of hosting an annual trans film festival, and we began planning STUFF to proudly continue that tradition.
